About the role
We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Tring to hire a Maths Teacher for a full‑time role starting in September. The position is initially fixed‑term for the Autumn term, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and school‑wide initiatives.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) in Mathematics.
- A genuine passion for teaching maths and supporting student achievement.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage learners of varying abilities.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
