Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join schools in Haywards Heath on a daily supply basis. The role can be short‑term or extend to a longer placement, providing immediate classroom support for KS3 and KS4 students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assess student progress, record marks and adapt teaching strategies to individual needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student well‑being.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and school events as required.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the maths curriculum.

Required profile

• Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS).
• Proven experience teaching secondary maths (KS3 & KS4).
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
