Maths Teacher – Part‑time/Temporary in Exeter

About the role

Teaching Personnel is partnering with several secondary schools in Exeter and surrounding areas to recruit qualified Maths Teachers for a September start. The role can be permanent, long‑term, part‑time or day‑to‑day supply, offering flexibility to suit your preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional KS5 opportunities.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and support individual student achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
