Maths Teacher – Permanent, Supply or Day‑to‑Day

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Woking. The role can be taken on a permanent basis, as a supply teacher or on a day‑to‑day contract, with start dates available in September, October or January.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 optional).
• Promote problem‑solving, analytical thinking and numeracy across the curriculum.
• Support pupils of all abilities to reach their full academic potential.
• Maintain a positive, focused learning environment.
• Collaborate with the maths department and wider school staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to raising achievement and delivering high‑quality lessons.

• Salary range £34,397 – £52,489 per annum (or £160 – £260 per day).
