About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Barnet, London. The role focuses on delivering engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students within a supportive department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress, record outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in parent evenings and communicate student achievement.
- Collaborate with the maths department to develop schemes of work and share best practice.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year teaching experience in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
