About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Harrow, London. The role is full‑time, starts on 02/09/2026 and runs until the end of the academic year, focusing on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare, mark and provide feedback on assessments.
- Contribute to the supportive maths department and collaborate with colleagues.
- Attend parent evenings and uphold safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
