About the role
We are recruiting a passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, forward‑thinking secondary school in Aylesbury, starting September 2026. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5) in a supportive, well‑resourced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5).
- Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement across the department.
Required profile
- A qualified Maths Teacher (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑player mindset.
