About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a high‑performing comprehensive school in Surrey, starting in September. The school is part of a multi‑academy trust and benefits from recent extensive redevelopment, offering state‑of‑the‑art facilities for both staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the mathematics curriculum for all pupils in the assigned class.
• Promote equity of opportunity, ensuring every student can achieve their highest potential.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s behaviour standards and foster a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
• Commitment to inclusive education and high academic standards.
• Strong communication skills with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi‑academy trust.
