About the role
We are seeking qualified Maths teachers for flexible supply work across secondary schools in Kent and Medway for the upcoming academic year. The role suits early‑career teachers, experienced practitioners, or those returning to the classroom who need short‑term, long‑term or temp‑to‑perm assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Maths curriculum to secondary students in line with school programmes.
- Prepare and mark assessments, ensuring timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (or willingness to start as an ECT).
- Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Kent & Medway.
- Commitment to professional standards and child protection policies.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the UK secondary Maths curriculum.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
