Maths Teacher (Temporary) – Havering – Sep Start

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a school in Havering on a long‑term temporary basis, starting in September. The successful candidate will teach high‑ability students across Key Stages 3 to 5 and help them achieve excellent exam results.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3‑5.
- Develop innovative lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
- Prepare students for examinations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at A‑level.
- Passion for supporting high‑ability learners.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Deep understanding of mathematics curriculum for Key Stages 3‑5.
- Ability to create dynamic and inclusive lesson materials.
