Maths Tutor – Flexible Part‑Time (Hampshire)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Maths Tutors to deliver one‑to‑one tuition to vulnerable children and young people across Hampshire. The role is part‑time and contract‑based, offering flexible hours starting in September.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 maths lessons tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Create engaging and supportive learning experiences to rebuild confidence.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches for learners with SEND, ASD, ADHD, SEMH or anxiety‑related challenges.
• Collaborate with local authority partners to ensure educational outcomes are met.

Required profile

• At least 6 months experience in a teaching, tutoring, teaching‑assistant or learning‑support role.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to deliver engaging sessions.
• Patient, adaptable, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Access to a vehicle or willingness to travel locally.
