Maths Tutor / GCSE Maths Teacher - Monday Evenings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maths Tutor to deliver GCSE and KS3 lessons on Monday evenings in Crowborough. This part‑time position offers the chance to work with small, motivated groups and help students build confidence and achieve their exam goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Lower KS3, Upper KS3/Early GCSE and Year 11 GCSE groups.
• Prepare and adapt teaching resources to meet the specific needs of each class.
• Maintain a consistent Monday‑evening timetable.
• Provide one additional paid hour each week for lesson planning and administration.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE Maths curriculum.
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring secondary‑aged students.
• Ability to deliver well‑structured, confidence‑building lessons.
• Organised, reliable and passionate about student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
