MBA Operations Lead (Hybrid Programme Management)

About the role

The MBA Operations Lead will oversee the day‑to‑day operational activities of the MBA Programme Team within the School of Management. Working closely with the Programme Director and Teaching & Learning Manager, the role will support the transition of the Flex MBA to a hybrid delivery model and ensure high‑quality programme administration.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the MBA Programme Administration team, providing guidance on planning, resourcing and best practice.
• Mentor and motivate team members, delivering regular feedback and ensuring work is accurate before escalation.
• Drive project delivery across the MBA programme, proactively managing timelines, resources and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead regular progress meetings and report status to senior leadership.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school‑wide strategies and policies related to teaching and student experience.
• Champion change initiatives, promoting a positive attitude to cultural and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Health & Safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising administrative or programme teams in an educational setting.
• Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Understanding of higher‑education teaching and learning processes.
• Ability to influence and develop team members, fostering continuous improvement.
