Mechanic / Vehicle Technician – East Sussex

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join a well‑established garage in the Hurst Green/Heathfield area of East Sussex. The role offers a stable, full‑time position within a professional team, working Monday‑Friday with one Saturday per month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Carry out inspections and MOT testing in accordance with regulations.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and execute high‑quality repairs.
• Maintain heating and air‑conditioning systems as required.

Required profile

• Proven practical experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
• Qualified MOT tester.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
• Reliable, hardworking and team‑oriented attitude.
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
