Mechanical Contracts Manager – Scotland

About the role

Due to a significant increase in secured workload across major defence, infrastructure and commercial projects, our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their leadership team. This established M&E contractor delivers complex mechanical and building services projects across Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical building services projects across Scotland from pre‑construction to commissioning.
• Lead project teams, overseeing programme management, resource allocation and site operations.
• Monitor project costs, variations and valuations in collaboration with commercial teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the key point of contact throughout delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager within the Building Services sector.
• Recognised Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering projects in healthcare, defence, commercial, education or industrial environments (highly advantageous).
