Mechanical Design Engineer – CATIA V5 & Windchill

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop innovative mechanical solutions for aerospace‑related smart motor and power generation projects. The role focuses on creating robust designs that meet cost, weight and manufacturability targets while supporting R&D and R&T initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD models, drawings and parts lists in accordance with company standards.
• Lead or support engineering work‑packages for mechanical design, ensuring design‑to‑cost and design‑to‑manufacture objectives.
• Produce design assurance documentation, including stress, thermal, interference fit and tolerance analyses.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Stress & Thermal, Supply Chain, Validation, Configuration and Quality teams.
• Participate in product introduction processes (PROMPT & DEVELOP) and gateway reviews.
• Support root‑cause analysis and risk mitigation activities for new and existing products.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in aerospace or related sectors.
• Ability to deliver technically robust solutions that satisfy customer and business requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in design verification and validation.
