Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are looking for two qualified Mechanical Engineers to join a busy team delivering commercial building services, facilities management and critical environment projects. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring plant reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems and plant equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs.
• Support the smooth operation of building services systems.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a high‑performing engineering team.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer with NVQ or City & Guilds certification.
• Proven experience in commercial building services, facilities management or critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following: HVAC, mechanical plant, water systems or gas systems.
