About the role
Osbit is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its offshore wind engineering team. You will be responsible for turning innovative concepts into fully engineered systems that support wind turbine foundation installation, subsea cable work, and component handling.
Key responsibilities
- Design innovative engineering systems from first‑principles through detailed design, ensuring technical excellence.
- Manage project deliverables to meet schedule, budget, and specification targets.
- Coordinate supplier progress, hold regular meetings, and provide on‑site support.
- Prepare technical documentation, design calculations, and review third‑party documents.
- Plan and execute testing, commissioning, and mobilisation activities.
- Liaise with finance, HSSEQ, and other business functions for guidance and support.
- Share knowledge with teammates through working groups and presentations.
Required profile

- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptable to unexpected challenges.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
- Ability to perform hand calculations.
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Offshore, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
