Mechanical Fitter (HGV Training)

About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a family‑run company, working on a day shift to maintain and repair a fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). The role offers training, overtime opportunities and a focus on work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the HGV fleet.
- Perform reactive breakdown repairs to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Work on a day‑based shift, ensuring safety and reliability of all vehicles.
Required profile
- Experience as an HGV Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or similar.
- Preference for candidates seeking a day‑shift, full‑time position.
