Mechanical Fitter – On‑site Hose Replacement

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to deliver professional on‑site hose replacement services for our customers across South East England. Working from a Mobile Sales & Service Unit, you will ensure equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards while representing CRP Group’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site hose replacement and related mechanical services to customers.
• Promote CRP Group products and services to existing and prospective clients within the assigned territory.
• Maintain strict health and safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Manage the Mobile Sales & Service Unit: keep stock levels adequate, perform routine maintenance checks, ensure the vehicle is clean, and maintain all technical documentation.
• Assist franchise colleagues when required and attend company‑provided training courses.
• Uphold professional personal presentation in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform hose replacement tasks.
• Good manual dexterity and physical capability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and meet time constraints.
• Successful completion of induction and training programmes.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in a technical or engineering environment is advantageous but not essential.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, Saturday 8 am‑12 pm (on‑call rota).
