Mechanical Fitter – Short-Term Project in Gravesend

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a short‑term engineering project in Gravesend. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑16:00, with an estimated duration of three to four months and an immediate start date.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general mechanical fitting and assembly tasks on site.
• Assist with planned works as part of the ongoing project.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to the project team.

Required profile

• HNC qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline.
• Time‑served Mechanical Fitter with proven practical experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands‑on skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
