Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – 4 Day Week

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established industrial team on a four‑day work week (Monday‑Thursday). You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy industrial machinery within a fully equipped plant, working closely with the project engineer on new installations and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of heavy industrial equipment.
• Collaborate with the project engineer on new plant installations and ongoing projects.
• Minimise breakdowns and optimise plant performance.
• Perform occasional weekend work, compensated at a premium rate.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift of 11:20 am to 9:50 pm, Monday‑Thursday.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and team collaboration.
