Mechanical Project Manager – Building & Construction (M&E)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical building services projects across a diverse estates portfolio in West London. You will be responsible for delivering projects from design through to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects end‑to‑end, covering HVAC, plant, pipework and water systems.
• Oversee contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, CDM and industry standards.
• Monitor budgets, programmes and overall project performance.
• Liaise with estates, facilities management and client stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, handover and operational integration of completed works.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering mechanical projects within construction or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems such as HVAC, BMS and plant equipment.
• Experience working in live environments (commercial, healthcare, education).
• Good understanding of H&S and CDM regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Day rate up to £500
