Mechanical Vehicle Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Vehicle Technician to join our engineering team at a dedicated repair centre. The role focuses on insurance‑based repairs of agricultural and plant machinery, working with a variety of vehicle brands.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical fault‑finding on a range of vehicles and machinery.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance for brands such as Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, Stellantis and VW Group.
• Complete MOT testing and certification where required.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical vehicle repair, preferably in farming, ground equipment or fleet environments.
• Engineering qualification in light or heavy vehicle engineering (ideal).
• Previous experience in a bodyshop or mechanical workshop setting.
• MOT certification is advantageous.
