Medical Device Territory Sales Manager – South West

About the role

This field‑based Area Business Manager position leads a specialist Interventional Oncology portfolio across Southwest England and Wales. Reporting to a national commercial leader, you will own a defined territory and be responsible for driving growth of pleural and peritoneal access devices used in cancer care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets.
• Manage key accounts across oncology, interventional radiology, respiratory medicine, thoracic surgery and palliative care.
• Lead product evaluations, clinical trials and in‑service training in partnership with internal clinical and marketing teams.
• Build long‑term relationships with multidisciplinary clinical teams, positioning solutions that improve symptom control and patient dignity.
• Balance commercial discipline with patient‑focused clinical conversations across complex care pathways.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical device territory sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder accounts in hospital and community settings.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a field‑based role.
• Relevant therapeutic background (e.g., interventional radiology, oncology, respiratory, vascular access, thoracic surgery).

Required skills

• Knowledge of interventional oncology devices and supportive cancer‑care solutions.
• Experience with pleural and peritoneal access product portfolios.
• Strong account management and strategic planning capabilities.
