About the role

Join a well‑established, CQC‑rated Good Training GP Practice in Hyde as a Medical Receptionist/Administrator. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, professional experience while supporting clinical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage reception duties.
• Book and manage appointments using EMIS Web.
• Register new patients and keep accurate records.
• Perform clinical coding and process correspondence via Docman.
• Support clinicians with a range of administrative tasks.
• Respond to patient enquiries in person and over the phone.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a GP practice or primary‑care setting.
• Strong knowledge of EMIS Web and Docman.
• Experience with clinical coding.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Professional, friendly and patient‑focused attitude.
