Medical Room Assistant – Tendring (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a caring and organised Medical Room Assistant to join our secondary school in Tendring. You will be the first point of contact for health‑related matters, providing first aid, medication administration and support to students and staff throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first aid and emergency medical support to pupils and staff.
• Administer prescribed medication in line with school policies.
• Maintain accurate medical records, accident reports and individual healthcare plans.
• Communicate with parents, carers and external healthcare professionals as required.
• Monitor and replenish medical supplies and equipment.
• Promote student wellbeing and contribute to safeguarding and welfare practices.

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Calm and professional demeanor in emergency situations.
• Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities.

Required skills
