Medical Sales Representative

About the role

We are a respected medical and pharmaceutical company seeking a Medical Sales Representative to grow our product portfolio across the Midlands and South Wales. The role is home‑based with extensive travel to NHS trusts, private hospitals and clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage approximately 100 existing accounts, overseeing sales cycles from a few weeks to 18+ months.
• Generate new business by cold‑calling, email prospecting, referrals and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Split time 60 % on new business and 40 % on existing accounts.
• Engage key decision‑makers such as consultants, physiotherapists, procurement teams and pharmacists.
• Represent the company at regional, national and international exhibitions and conferences.

Required profile

• Motivated sales professional eager to enter or progress in medical/pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong relationship‑building and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Midlands and South Wales.
