Medical Scientific Liaison (CNS) – Neurology/Migraine

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (CNS) will engage with scientific leaders and key decision makers across the UK and Ireland, focusing on neurology and migraine. Working remotely for a global pharmaceutical organisation, you will provide medical and strategic support to cross‑functional teams while travelling 1‑3 times per year for face‑to‑face interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in non‑promotional, peer‑to‑peer exchange of medical and scientific information with external leaders.
• Gather deep insights into disease landscape, data gaps and healthcare needs in the assigned geography.
• Represent Medical Affairs at local or regional scientific events, coordinating pre‑event information and post‑event summaries.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific, pipeline or product information using approved materials.
• Organise and participate in medical exchange activities such as hospital lectures, journal clubs, advisory boards and expert forums.
• Provide scientific support for Health Technology Assessments and formulary decisions.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Medical Scientific Liaison or similar medical affairs role.
• Strong knowledge of neurology, particularly migraine, and familiarity with the UK/Ireland healthcare environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (1‑3 trips per year) and work remotely.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate within compliance frameworks.

What we offer

• Remote working arrangement (37.5 hours per week).
• Hourly rate of £24.62 – £41.54 (pro‑rated annual equivalent £48,009 – £81,003).
• 25 days holiday pro‑rated.
• Temporary PAYE contract from August 2026 to January 2027 with possible extension.
