About the role
We are partnering with a leading UK medical communications agency to find a Medical Writer who will create high-quality scientific content for a variety of clients. The role involves leading writing projects, mentoring junior writers and delivering accurate material on time.
Key responsibilities
- Research and write scientific, educational and commercial materials across multiple therapy areas.
- Edit and verify factual accuracy of all outputs.
- Ensure deliverables meet client briefs, timelines and budgets.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.
- Provide regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Degree in a scientific discipline such as biology, medicine, genetics or chemistry.
- Proven experience in medical communications, scientific writing or a related field.
- Ability to understand and translate complex medical information into clear copy.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory environment.
