Medical Writer – Publications (UK)

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Medical Writer focused on publications to join its Medical Education Communications team across the UK. You will translate complex scientific data into clear, compelling content that supports our clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Research and synthesize scientific literature, competitive intelligence, and product strategy for assigned projects.
• Develop a variety of scientific communications, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, MSL materials, and advisory board or symposia reports.
• Perform data checks, annotate documents, and compile reference packs.
• Adapt writing style to suit different audiences such as physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Maintain awareness of brand strategic objectives and commercial context under senior guidance.
• Ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of scientific concepts and ability to learn therapeutic area knowledge quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior editorial teams and incorporate feedback.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality, compliant content.

Required skills

• Scientific writing and literature review.
• Data verification and reference pack preparation.
• Familiarity with ABPI or similar industry codes.
