Medicals Team Leader – Lead Medical Evidence Operations

About the role

Bond Turner is seeking a Medicals Team Leader to oversee the collection and management of medical evidence for personal injury and clinical negligence claims. The role is based in the Liverpool office and involves leading a dedicated team to ensure timely, accurate, and GDPR‑compliant delivery of medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Medicals team and support day‑to‑day workflow.
• Lead, motivate and develop team members to maintain high engagement and productivity.
• Ensure all medical instructions are completed accurately and within agreed service level agreements.
• Oversee the request, processing and secure transmission of medical records in line with GDPR and internal procedures.
• Provide guidance on complex queries and act as the primary point of support for the team.
• Monitor performance, identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with file handlers, clients and medical agencies to resolve issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Experience managing medical evidence and records within a legal or professional services environment.
• Knowledge of GDPR requirements and internal service level agreements.
