Membership Manager – Leisure & Sports Centre

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Membership Manager to lead a busy team at a leading leisure and sports centre in Cranleigh. You will be responsible for driving membership growth, ensuring high‑quality customer service and supporting your advisors to achieve their targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Membership Advisors, setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to convert centre users into members.
• Maintain accurate administration, systems and compliance related to membership records.
• Ensure the team possesses deep product knowledge of the facilities and customer needs.
• Uphold the organisation’s values and promote a culture where ‘everyone’s a member’.

Required profile

• Proven experience in membership management, sales management or a related consultancy role.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive a sales‑focused team to success.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a track record of achieving targets.
