Membership Services Correspondent

About the role

Join a well‑established environmental and gardening charity as a Membership Services Correspondent. You will be part of a team that assists existing and prospective members through email and telephone enquiries, ensuring a first‑class service for a growing membership base.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to member and public enquiries via email and phone.
• Maintain and update the organisation's in‑house membership database with accurate information.
• Guide users on navigating the charity’s website and help new members select the most suitable membership option.
• Provide support to wider teams by sharing relevant information and advice.
• Handle a variety of written correspondence and incoming calls, adapting to changing daily demands.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication skills with a strong focus on email handling.
• Clear verbal communication and a friendly, professional telephone manner.
• Good computer literacy and the ability to work accurately with database systems.
• Flexible, able to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
