Menswear Product Manager – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Menswear Product Manager to own the commercial identity of our Manchester store, reporting directly to the General Manager. The role combines sales analysis, visual merchandising, and team leadership to drive performance across clothing, accessories and perfume categories.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse store sales data and adjust strategies weekly to maximise revenue.
• Plan and execute store layout and visual merchandising in line with brand identity and seasonal trends.
• Coordinate with regional and national teams to implement country‑wide strategies and organise in‑store workshops.
• Manage stock levels, back‑stock proposals and product ordering in collaboration with operations managers.
• Lead, train and motivate the commercial team, handling payroll, performance reviews and succession planning.
• Ensure security, cash handling and health‑and‑safety procedures are rigorously followed.

Required profile

• Previous fashion retail experience, preferably in merchandising.
• Proven record of creating and implementing successful commercial actions.
• Fashion or textile design qualification is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to forecast trends.
• High numeracy and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Keynote for creating visual presentations.
• Ability to drive change, work under pressure and adapt to evolving retail environments.
