MEP Coordinator – Major Infrastructure Project

About the role

The role is for an MEP Coordinator to join the design delivery team on a major infrastructure project in Bridgwater. The appointment is temporary (5‑6 months) with possible extension, supporting delivery of a large MEP package in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of design task orders and seismic analysis activities, assisting the Lead MEP Project Manager.
• Coordinate design information and resolve technical queries raised by the supply chain.
• Monitor design outputs against agreed programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, reporting requirements and strict industry standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator, Design Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience working for a main contractor or M&E contractor on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced project environment.
• Experience on major infrastructure or highly regulated projects is advantageous.
