Merchandise Planner – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

As a Merchandise Planner you will own one of Reiss’ global wholesale accounts, working with partners across the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia. You will combine planning, trading and account management to ensure the right product reaches the right market at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Owning planning and trading of a global wholesale account, reporting on performance and forecasts against budget.
• Managing departmental forecasting across Fashion and Continuity to align wholesale requirements with mainline bookings.
• Producing pre‑ and post‑buy analysis to support balanced ranges for global partners.
• Supporting end‑to‑end wholesale and franchise market processes, including buy calendars and order deadlines via NuOrder.
• Driving in‑season trading opportunities to increase sell‑out using stock and performance insight.
• Managing stock, intake, allocation and dispatch to ensure timely delivery to partners.
• Coaching and developing Assistant and Trainee Merchandise Planners.

Required profile

• Previous experience in wholesale merchandising or a similar commercial fashion role with international market exposure.
• Commercially minded with confidence working on sales, stock, forecasts and budgets.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts, deadlines and critical processes across markets.
• Strong communicator capable of building relationships with global partners and internal teams.
• Analytical and detail‑focused with ability to turn data into commercial actions.
