MES Product Management Lead

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a senior leader to own and shape the future of its Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) portfolio. Based in Cambridge, UK, the MES Product Management Lead will drive the strategic evolution toward a next‑generation, cloud‑connected MES platform built on AVEVA CONNECT, working across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Define the long‑term vision and roadmap for the MES product line, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business value.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of MES Product Managers to deliver against the product vision.
• Collaborate with platform, sales, professional services and implementation teams to integrate MES capabilities into AVEVA’s hybrid‑cloud ecosystem.
• Run customer advisory boards, user forums and product councils to capture feedback and translate it into roadmap items.
• Shape market positioning, messaging and competitive strategy for both standalone and hybrid deployments.
• Partner with Business Development and Sales to support go‑to‑market initiatives and key customer conversations.
• Serve as the single point of ownership for the MES roadmap, making and defending product decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product or solutions management experience, preferably within Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Proven ability to define multi‑release roadmaps and guide migrations from on‑premise or legacy environments to cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Deep knowledge of MES functional domains such as production execution, scheduling and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
