MET Technician

About the role

We’re looking for a MET Technician to join our team and play a key role in Activate Accident Repair. Activate Group is a fast‑growing UK business with close to 1,000 employees, offering long‑term career development.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out work detailed in the estimate, removing damaged components in preparation for repair or paint work.
• Refit repaired or replaced components to restore the vehicle to its pre‑accident condition.
• Deliver the highest standard of quality in all tasks.
• Achieve manufacturers’ estimated repair times.
• Report any faults or defects discovered while working on vehicles.
• Accurately record all components, materials and consumables used.

Required profile

• ATA / NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good health and safety knowledge and awareness.
• Effective time‑management skills.
• Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.
