MEWP / IPAF Operator – Construction Site (Stockport)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEWP / IPAF Operator to join a busy construction project in Stockport on a short‑term temporary contract. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety‑conscious operative who can provide height access support to trades and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operating various Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely and efficiently.
• Assisting trades and site teams with access requirements at height.
• Carrying out pre‑use inspections and daily safety checks on equipment.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with site management to complete tasks safely and on schedule.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and hazard‑free.
• Supporting general site operations when required.

Required profile

• Valid IPAF Licence (Category 3a and/or 3b).
• Previous experience operating MEWPs on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available.
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
