Microsoft Sentinel & Defender Consultant (3‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft Sentinel & Defender Consultant to join our team on a three‑month contract. You will work remotely, helping organisations design, deploy and optimise enterprise‑scale Microsoft security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, implementation and configuration of Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows to enhance threat detection and response.
• Perform security monitoring, incident investigation and remediation across SIEM, XDR and SOAR platforms.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate security requirements into technical designs.
• Provide guidance and best‑practice recommendations to improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender suite.
• Strong background in security architecture, deployment and operational optimisation.
• Hands‑on scripting and automation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as SC‑200, SC‑100 or AZ‑500 are desirable.
