Mid-Level Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing organisation in London that needs a Mid‑Level Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen its security function. You will work across threat detection, incident response and security operations in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools.
• Support incident response from initial triage through resolution and reporting.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Assist with security control reviews and audits against ISO 27001, NIST CSF and Cyber Essentials.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors on security matters.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in cyber or information security.
• Working knowledge of SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of network security fundamentals and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and Cyber Essentials frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH or Cyber Essentials Practitioner are desirable.
