Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Developer (Fintech)

About the role

We are seeking an intellectually curious Mid-Level Full‑Stack Software Developer to join our fintech startup in London. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, building scalable applications and contributing to AI‑enabled features that power our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications.
• Build and integrate APIs, databases and backend services.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled solutions, including generative AI initiatives.
• Write clean, maintainable code and support automated testing and quality assurance.
• Debug, troubleshoot and improve application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and business teams to deliver new features and platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in full‑stack software development.
• Experience with modern web technologies, APIs and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset, curiosity to learn and enthusiasm for a fast‑paced startup environment.
