Mid-level Insolvency Solicitor – Leicester

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a mid‑level Insolvency Solicitor to join a well‑regarded and growing insolvency team in Leicester. You will work with Insolvency Practitioners nationwide, handling both contentious and non‑contentious matters while developing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Act for Insolvency Practitioners across the UK, managing a broad contentious and non‑contentious workload.
• Develop and maintain repeat client instructions and a strong cross‑referral network.
• Mentor junior colleagues and bridge the gap between junior and senior lawyers within the regional practice.
• Collaborate with teams in Leicester, Northampton, Norwich and Manchester on multi‑jurisdictional matters.

Required profile

• UK qualified solicitor with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Solid contentious insolvency experience; non‑contentious exposure is a bonus.
• Comfortable working independently with appropriate supervisory support.
• Commercially astute with a genuine interest in client relationship building.
• Collaborative team player keen to support junior colleagues.
• Willingness to work primarily office‑based.
