Mid‑Weight Designer – Commercial Creative Team

About the role

We are looking for a talented, thoughtful and hands‑on Midweight Designer to join our commercial creative team at Midori House in Marylebone. Working under the direction of our Creative Director and Commercial Art Director, you will produce distinctive, beautifully executed work for globally recognised partners who share our commitment to quality, innovation and thoughtful communication.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of allocated design projects from brief through to final artwork and delivery.
• Create concepts, layouts and select imagery, adapting designs across print, digital, social and live‑experience formats.
• Collaborate with commercial, editorial, photography, production and project‑management teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.
• Support the Commercial Art Director with creative proposals, presentations and occasional client conversations.

Required profile

• Skilled graphic designer with at least three years of professional experience, preferably in an agency, publishing or commercial brand environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating original, excellently executed work across print and digital, with strong typography, layout and visual storytelling.
• Ability to develop work from an initial brief to final artwork, interpret creative direction and apply feedback thoughtfully.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent typography, layout and image‑selection abilities.
• Experience preparing accurate final artwork for both print and digital delivery.
• Good understanding of print production, creative workflows and adapting work across multiple platforms.
• Motion‑design skills with After Effects (desirable).
