About the role

Join Caterpillar's state‑of‑the‑art facility in Stockton‑on‑Tees as an experienced MIG Welder. You will work in a clean, safe, high‑tech environment building construction products for a global market.

Key responsibilities

• Operate advanced MIG welding equipment to produce high‑precision fixtures.
• Maintain strict tolerances and quality standards on every weld.
• Collaborate with the team using overhead cranes and jigs in a flow‑based production line.
• Champion safety by leading with a safety‑first mindset.
• Adapt to rotating shift patterns as required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Welding (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in a MIG welding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work flexible shift patterns.
• Willingness to complete a trade test and demonstrate precision.

What we offer

• Starting bonus: £150 trade‑test payment upon joining.
• Hourly rates from £18.98 up to £24.10, with overtime up to £37.96.
