Milk Tanker Driver – Class 1 CE Licence

About the role

As a Class 1 driver you will collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the dairy, ensuring each delivery meets strict quality and safety standards. You will also handle milk samples, label them correctly, and support laboratory testing. The role combines rural driving, customer interaction, and regular safety checks.

Key responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from farms and deliver it to the depot on schedule.
• Gather milk samples, label them accurately, and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone and report any issues.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and attend training sessions.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (experience with milk tankers is a plus).
• Strong customer‑service focus, ability to meet deadlines, and good geographical knowledge.
