Milk Tanker Driver

About the role

We are looking for a Class 1 driver to collect fresh milk from farms and deliver it to our dairy depot on a night shift schedule. The role involves handling milk samples, completing vehicle checks and maintaining communication with the transport team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the depot, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
• Take milk samples during collections, label them correctly and drop them off for laboratory testing.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone and report any issues.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and provide progress updates.
• Participate in training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• At least 6 months of HGV driving experience (experience with milk tankers is a plus).
• Eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions.
