Mixed Tax Accountant/Manager – Immediate Start

About the role

This temporary position is with a fast‑growing start‑up accountancy practice in central London. The Mixed Tax Accountant/Manager will join the team for an initial three‑month contract, supporting both corporate and personal tax clients and contributing to the firm’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and private clients.
• Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and capital gains tax computations and returns.
• Provide advisory services on business structuring, profit extraction and tax planning.
• Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and other professional advisers.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities within client portfolios.
• Support partners on technical tax matters and practice development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance deadlines are met while maintaining high client‑service standards.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or equivalent.
• Strong mixed tax experience covering both corporate and personal tax.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation.
• Experience advising owner‑managed businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.
