Mixed Tax Senior – Corporate & Personal Tax Specialist

About the role

This senior tax position offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients while gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work. You will work for a respected professional services firm that values technical development and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Prepare and review corporation tax and self‑assessment returns, including group structures.
• Provide advice on a wide range of corporate and personal tax matters.
• Act as the trusted point of contact for clients and liaise directly with HMRC.
• Review junior team members' work and support their development.
• Assist with workload planning to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation and share knowledge across the team.
• Support wider tax advisory projects as required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns within an accountancy practice.
• Ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver high‑quality service.
• Excellent technical, analytical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Capability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax and accounting software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
